This is yet another old scribble. I think I drew it at least 3 years ago.
I like drawing mild gore in fact, because it tends to illustrate strong emotions (e.g. pain, frustration) in a less provocative manner. Explicit contents (hardcore gore) and monsters aren't my cups of tea though.
My favourite part of this doodle is the stitched lips. It's not heavily blood-stained, nor is it severely deformed. But it looks, at least to me, painful and a bit creepy. I like her vacant stare too. She can't scream and she is tired of struggling. The helplessness and fatigue then fill her rounded, hopeless eyes.

This is very beautifully done. I like the bit of shading by her eyes, as though they were meant to look worn and somewhat dreary. The stitching across the lips is very well done as well. The fact her hair is a bit messy really adds to the atmosphere you're creating in your portrait
